Aahaarya, Inc. is a 503 (c) registered charitable organization in the state of Maryland, with a mission to promote the art and theory of Indian Classical Dance form of Kuchipudi among the children of any origin. Aahaarya endeavors to teach this art form to blind children of any origin.

Aahaarya, Inc. has started teaching Kuchipudi to blind children in Vizag, AP, India. Subha Maruvada of Kuchipudi Kalakendra has taken up this challenge to teach Kuchipudi art and theory to children including blind children in the tri-states area. We believe that children are surely a gift to us, who are born with a unique identity and unique fortune. None of us can foresee what their potentials are when they are born. These blind children are able to feel, talk, or express, and may not be able to see through their eyes, they are blind by nature or by unseen disaster. It does not mean that they cannot learn other talents where they can learn to love themselves, and able to reveal their inner talent. Our organization is pledged to fulfill the special mission to educate this classical dance form.

Set up Sari Collection Centers in the major cities around the country, to support self-help women’s organizations.

Hold summer / weekend camp in Kuchipudi dance, music, and percussion to blind and handicapped children.

More centers to teach Kuchipudi Dance, Music, and Percussion to blind children, in other major cities will be announced soon.

Transfer Cassette tape to CD and Video cassette to DVD. Track seperation and CD/DVD labeling is also serviced.

Carry large inventory on dance jewelry and educational supplies.

Need volunteers to work in these areas. The rewards shall be paid in return of services.
